Mzolisi’s practise is primarily in IP litigation, where his focus is on patents in various technical fields. His practice covers both domestic and cross-border litigation. Mzolisi further advises and litigates in patent entitlement disputes.
After completion of his bachelors in mechanical engineering and gaining experience in the petrochemical industry, Mzolisi began his legal studies. He obtained his bachelors, a master in company and commercial law and a post-master in intellectual property law from the University of Maastricht. His theses were on various topics, including international patent exhaustion, inventive step analysis under Dutch patent law and the referential use of trade marks. During his studies he also lectured at the University of Maastricht and gained experience at various law firms. He was admitted to the bar in 2021.
Mzolisi is an active member of various professional associations including EPLAW and AIPPI.
As of September 2023 Mzolisi has joined Vondst. Before then, Mzolisi worked as a patent lawyer at Brinkhof.
