Polo van der Putt has given a presentation at the Ignite conference of paloalto Networks. The conference was held in the Amsterdam Conference Building (RAI) and over 2.000 participants joined the session. Subject matter was the processing of security data and implementing security measures under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Especially recital 49 GDPR seems to give business more room to maneuver than they often will think they have. The legitimate interest ground is still a relevant ground for the processing of data.
