On 30 January the book “Data Protection & Privacy” was launched in Brussels. The book contains an overview of the data protection legislation of almost 30 countries. Polo van der Putt and Eva de Vries of Vondst contributed the chapter on the Netherlands. The book is published by Thomson Reuters.
The book also deals with the newly proposed Data Protection Regulation. This regulation, which still needs to pass the European Parliament, will bring about many changes and will impact on companies doing business in Europe.
