Vondst has participated in the recent event of the Amsterdam Economic Board. The Board determines the strategy for the economic development and the innovative power of the Amsterdam metropolitan area. The Amsterdam Economic Board aims to have Amsterdam amongst the top 5 of the leading European regions to establish a business. For that purpose 7 clusters have been identified. Vondst has a strong affinity with 3 of these clusters:
Innovative projects have been initiated within these clusters, in close co-operation with businesses. With respect to ICT Amsterdam for instance concentrates on open data and big data, within the field of health Amsterdam focuses on digital imaging and within flowers a project on dna profiling has been initiated.
