Arvid joined Vondst as partner in January 2018. He previously worked as patent-litigator for Brinkhof and Freshfields.
Arvid is a national- and European litigator in patent matters. In addition he is increasingly involved in farma regulatory matters.
He publishes and lectures regularly on the (international-) enforcement of IP rights and related issues.
Arvid is listed in various authoritative editorials including Chambers Europe (“He is noted by several sources who are impressed by his growing practice and his contribution to high-profile cases involving patents and design rights” ) and IAM Patent 1000 (“He is phenomenal – he’s really making a name for himself.”).
Arvid is an active member of various professional associations including HollandBIO, EPLAW and AIPPI.
Arvid studied at the Free University of Amsterdam and Northwestern Law School in Chicago. He was admitted to the bar in 2004.
Arvid has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Intellectual Property (Intellectueel Eigendomsrecht). Based on this registration, Arvid is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
