IP lawyer Herwin Roerdijk has joined Vondst Advocaten as per December 1, 2014. Herwin advises and litigates in trademark, design and copyright matters. In addition, Herwin has specific knowledge and experience in (online) marketing and privacy matters.
Tjeerd Overdijk, IP partner at Vondst, says: “We are delighted that Herwin joins our firm. We have been searching for an experienced litigator for the soft IP practice for some time. With his experience, specifically in litigation, Herwin is the ideal fit. His knowledge in the areas of (online) marketing and privacy also boosts our IT practice.”
Roerdink: “The mixture of IP and IT at Vondst always appealed to me. Vondst has a reputation for its high quality clients and work and for being a very pleasant place to work. When Ricardo Dijkstra (my former colleague at Van Doorne) moved to Vondst in September, the contact was quickly established. Joining Vondst is a natural next step in the evolution of my practice and the firm´s reputation of work across the full range of IP and IT. I am very much looking forward to help expanding the IP and IT practice.”
Roerdink´s arrival follows closely on the heels of the recent additions to Vondst of Ricardo Dijkstra and Nadine Wiersma, who joined in September. Together with the arrival of Remco de Ranitz as of counsel, it evidences the continuing growth of the IP and IT practices at Vondst.
