Polo van der Putt and Tessa Stallaert attended the Annual Conference of the Dutch Privacy Law Association. The central theme was the new Data Protection Regulation, which will hugely impact on businesses. According to the current draft, a business should implement strict data protection policies. Also the draft requires the national data protection supervisors to impose penalties for almost every violation, up to 2% of the global turnover.
