Tjeerd Overdijk speaks during International Conference “IP Protection for Plant Innovation”

On 29 November 2019 Tjeerd will be speaking at the 9th edition of the International Conference “IP Protection for Plant Innovation”, held in Amsterdam on 28 and 29 November 2019. The topic to be addressed is recent developments in the field of rights of breeders with regard to so-called Essentially Derived Varieties (EDVs). Tjeerd will provide an update on legislative developments, recent court cases involving EDVs and he will share his observations on the practical application and importance of EDV rules.
